TSKHALTUBO RESORT

Tskhaltubo is one of the best and probably one of the most famous resorts in Georgia. In the Soviet past, almost everyone rested and received treatment at this resort. It was created as an exemplary SPA city, so huge pompous buildings were built there, more resembling palaces. Tskhaltubo is located 16 km from Kutaisi, in a mild subtropical zone. But in addition to the good climate, it is known for its radon springs. In the park area, there are several buildings with bath departments where they treat nervous, cardiovascular, gynecological, skin, and other diseases. Nearby are karst caves with unique air where they treat lungs, bronchitis and asthmatic diseases. SPA and hotels are ready to welcome guests at any time of the year. Day 1. Arrival in resort

Arrival in Kutaisi. Transfer to Tskhaltubo. Checking in at the hotel. If we have time, consultation with doctors. Procedures. Overnight stay in Tskhaltubo

Day 2. Sataplia and Prometheus caves

After breakfast. 10:00 Procedures. We finish around 14:00-15:00. Lunch. We will go to see the Sataplia cave with traces of dinosaurs and a transparent observation deck. From there, we will go to another, more serious cave called Prometheus. Its length is 1.5 km and at the end, an underground river flows, on which we will take a boat ride. Day 5. Kutaisi - Gelati academy

Morning procedures. We will go to see the city of Kutaisi, which is located just 16 km away from Tskhaltubo. There is a myth about the Argonauts associated with this city, and we will listen to it. Then we will go to the Gelati Academy (12th century), a very interesting and historically important place for Georgia. For lunch, we will stop nearby in a village where we will have a master class on making khachapuri and lobio. We will be served with delicious Georgian food and wine. There, we will also have the opportunity to see a folk program of national songs and dances. Overnight stay in Tskhaltubo.

Day 4. Okatse Gorge - waterfall Kinchkha

Morning procedures. There are many interesting and beautiful places around Tskhaltubo. On this day, we will take a walk along the suspended trail of the Okatse Gorge. It is suspended 100 meters above the canyon. From there, we will go to the Kinchkha waterfall, where we can have a picnic in a beautiful forest. Overnight stay in Tskhaltubo.

Day 7. Martvili canyon - Tea tasting

Morning procedures. After lunch, we will go to a beautiful place - the Martvili Canyon. We will admire the cascading waterfalls and take a boat ride through the blue waters of the canyon. Then we will go to a tea factory, visit tea plantations, see how it is prepared, and participate in a tea ceremony where we will try several varieties of this healthy drink. Day 6. Mount Gomi

Morning procedures. After lunch, we will go to Mount Gomi. We will climb to a height of over 2700 meters. The views from there are insane, and we will be soaring above the clouds. There, we can meditate and practice yoga. Overnight stay in Tskhaltubo.

Day 7. Black beaches Shekvetili - Dendroarium

After morning procedures, we will head to Shekvetili, where we will enjoy the beauty of the black sand beaches of the Black Sea. Later, we will visit the Dendroarium, a botanical garden with a wide variety of plants from different parts of the world. Overnight stay in Tskhaltubo.

Day 8. Mayakovsky museum - Winery

Morning procedures. After lunch, we will visit the town of Bagdadi, where Vladimir Mayakovsky was born, and we will visit his very interesting house-museum. We will also stop by a local winery and try their wines. Overnight stay in Tskhaltubo.

Day 9. Peak Tskhrajvari - Khvanchkara winery

Morning procedures. After lunch, we go to the Racha region. We will climb to the top of Mount Tskhrajvari, which is a place of power and the view from there is breathtaking. Next, we will visit the Khvanchkara winery and try their famous wines. Overnight in Tskhaltubo.

Day 10. Free day

Free time. Agrarian bazaar, shops, souvenirs, etc.
